Association des instituts Carnot

The "Association des instituts Carnot" or "AiCarnot" is the federative level of the Carnot institutes network. It was founded by the establishments the Carnot institutes are connected with, in order to create a real inter Carnot dynamics and to coordinate the institutes collective actions in favour of partnerial research development and innovation.
 
To fit with its major  partenarial research development goal, AiCarnot leads collective actions for the network around the 4 main axes below :

- Support for Carnot institutes partnerial research development
A network organized collectively and at each Carnot institute level to better answer enterprises research needs.
- development of the Carnot institutes attractivity for entreprises
Beyond the scientific quality of Carnot institutes' laboratories, the network attractivity relies on a good opening and listening ability and on the definition of "Carnot standards" of profesionalism and quality for research partnership.
- Development of the national and the international visibilities of the Carnot network
Being at the best scientifical international level and going toward research programs for enterprises benefits : our offer, ous expertise and our know-how are structured in order to raise awareness and to facilitate their  access to all our partners.
- Integration and coordination of the institutes' actions within the network
Our network strength requires a good integration of all its members and their ability to work together and to organize themselves to be more efficient and to give our partners expectations a more structured and adequate answer: « toghether, further, stronger ».

AiCarnot funds come mainly from the Carnot institutes. Note that every Carnot institute is automatically a member of AiCarnot.

The Board of Directors is comprised of 15 representatives of Carnot institutes.
