The Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology
Presentation

The Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology was created in 1992 by the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the University of Science and Technology at Lille (USTL), the University of Valenciennes and Hainaut Cambrésis (UVHC) and Institut Supérieur d’Electronique et du Numérique (ISEN).
The IEMN has a unique structure composed of physics, electronics and acoustics researchers working together with different cultures, methods and objectives in order further in their knowledge and know-how about fundamental problems and their applications.

Research fields

  • Materials and nanostructures
  • Microtechnology and microsystems
  • Micro and opto-electronics
  • Circuits and telecommunications systems
